Dan is a seasoned investment & finance executive with extensive experience as an investor and CFO across growth companies in a myriad of industries. Most recently, he served as CFO and Head of Corporate Development at Sizzle Acquisition (NASDAQ: SZZL), a blank check company that is merging with European Lithium to create Critical Metals, Europe’s first fully licensed lithium mining company. Previously, he held CFO roles at angel- and PE-backed businesses. Prior to his operating roles, Dan has been a professional investor of both public and private equities, initially as a senior investment team member at a multi-billion dollar institutional asset manager and then as VP of Investments at an early-stage VC firm. He began his finance career in equity research at an investment bank, where he worked on over a dozen capital raising transactions with an aggregate value of $2+ billion. He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and earned his CFA.
